Making a Christmas music is a very precarious undertaking The classics are so fondly regarded. Despite our love affair with the holiday music from our youth, there have been some gems that have been released in the new millennium. These artists offered new songs that are destined to be Christmas classics instead of remaking tied and true Christmas carols. Here are five of the best Christmas songs.

This award-winning crooner can sing the phone book and make it sound good. In 2011 he co-wrote this original Christmas song that is so catchy.
